We would thoroughly enjoy meeting with you and discussing our employment opportunities.&nbsp;</p><p>The&nbsp;<strong>Optician</strong> will dispense and fit spectacles, contact lenses and other optical aides, working from printed or computerized prescriptions with assistance. &nbsp;They will advise patients on various types of lenses and spectacle frames, including advice on style, weight, and color. &nbsp;Instructs patients on how to wear and care for their spectacles and contacts.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provides patient education regarding lens materials, products, and designs</li><li>Performs prescription analysis such as interpreting and transposing</li><li>Provides recommendations to patients regarding proper eyeglass frame selection</li><li>Determines ideal recommendations by incorporating frame design, lens materials and optics with patient’s prescription and lifestyle considerations</li><li>Performs eyeglass frame adjustments and repairs. We would thoroughly enjoy meeting with you and discussing our employment opportunities.&nbsp;</p><p>The <strong>Ophthalmic Technician I </strong>will perform a range of duties which include preparing the patient to see Ophthalmologist and/or Optometrist and conduct preliminary exam and captures medical history. In addition, the preparation of examination and treatment rooms, performing basic and routine vision screening examinations, administering eye medications, cleaning, and maintaining ophthalmic instruments and assisting physicians during minor surgical and laser procedures may be required. Travel to other locations may also be necessary to support clinical needs.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Make introductions and establish rapport with patients</li><li>Initiate patient evaluation, documenting the chief complaint, history of present illness, review of systems, and all pertinent ocular findings accurately and in accordance with compliance guidelines.</li><li>Perform pre-exam testing to include visual acuity assessment, including pinhole and glare testing, confrontational visual field testing, assess extra ocular muscles, pupillary evaluation, tonometry, assess angles, pupillary dilation, and all other patient services as requested by the physician including specialty tests such as color vision screening, stereopsis, and dry eye testing</li><li>Perform lensometry and specialized testing such as visual fields, keratometry, A/B scans, and ophthalmic photography optical coherence tomography (OCT), and optical biometry </li><li>Additional testing as requested by doctor</li><li>Perform retinoscopy and refractometry.
